Mission of the case study:

In the digital era, our client, a non-profit supporting those navigating grief, sought our expertise to build a website fostering healing and community. Our mission: to craft a digital sanctuary promoting empathy, sharing resources, and nurturing understanding.

Client Background:

Our client, a non-profit organization rooted in the belief that grief is a natural and universal human experience, has been providing support to individuals coping with loss. Recognizing the power of shared experiences and collective support, they sought to expand their reach beyond physical support groups by launching an online platform for grief circles.

Objectives:

  1. Create an Accessible Hub: Develop a user-friendly website accessible to individuals in various stages of grief, offering a safe space for sharing and healing.
  2. Curate Resources: Compile a comprehensive repository of resources including articles, books, and support services to aid individuals in their grief journey.
  3. Facilitate Connection: Facilitate connections through virtual grief circles and upcoming events, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity.
  4. Establish Trust: Establish trust and credibility by showcasing the organization’s mission and values through an About Us page.
  5. Encourage Engagement: Encourage engagement and inquiries through a Contact Us page for individuals seeking additional support or information.

1. Discovery and Research:

  • Conducted in-depth interviews with the client to understand their vision, goals, and target audience.
  • Researched existing grief support platforms and best practices in web design to inform our approach.
  • Identified key features and content requirements essential for a supportive online grief community.
